Vocal Zones Singers bade a very sad goodbye to their Musical Director Emma Bishton at their Annual General Meeting in July. It was the end of an era!
Emma looked after our singing group for many years, she taught us, inspired us, cajoled us, pushed us but most importantly she made us laugh and smile.
Our Chair, Julia Richardson thanked her for all of her hard work, determination and inspiration. Emma was dedicated to our singing group and ensured that we were always very professional and well prepared for our public performances and concerts. She will be missed. We wish Emma the very best for the future.
However, as one door closes another one opens and we are so very pleased to welcome Joanne Arnold as our new Musical Director. We are all looking forward to learning new songs and extending our repertoire under Joanne’s stewardship.
